RICHMOND STATEMENT OF THE PASSING OF REP. ISRAEL "BO" CURTIS

WASHINGTON, DC- Congressman Cedric Richmond (LA-02) released the following statement in response to the passing of former Louisiana State Representative Israel "Bo" Curtis:

“I had the honor of serving with Rep. Israel “Bo” Curtis for 8 years,” said Congressman Richmond.  “He was a very hard working, principled legislator who was committed to service.  Officials like Bo Curtis come by rarely and he will be missed by people who knew him and the people he served.”

State Representative Israel Curtis served in the Louisiana Legislature for 16 years, leaving in 2007.  He represented the District 26 area of Alexandria.
