3rd Annual Small Business Summit and Expo

Entrepreneurs and small firms create the jobs and develop the ideas that our economy needs to regain its footing. However, this innovation is not easy. The business world is complex and constantly presents new challenges.To facilitate the growth and development of local small businesses, Rep. Richmond is hosting a Small Business Summit and Expo in conjunction with Delgado Community College on August 20-21, 2013.

Program Overview

Tuesday, August 20th | 6:00pm – 8:30pm

A panel of representatives of federal agencies and local governments will lead a discussion on the contracting and procurement process and the challenges of doing business with governments in uncertain times. This is your chance to ask frank questions and get concrete answers to your business concerns.

Wednesday, August 21st | 11:00am – 4:00pm

Purchasing departments of major government agencies and top companies from the area will join with small business assistance programs for an exhibition. This is your chance to meet with them one-on-one to establish valuable contacts and discover new opportunities for your business.
